Installing on drop bars

Installing on Flat Bars

INSTALLING MOUNTAIN MITTS

Step 1: Open Zipper and Velcro Straps

Open the zipper and the two velcro straps next to the zipper.

Step 2: Slide Zipper Opening

Slide the zipper opening over bar end, brake lever, and shifters.

Step 3: Secure Velcro Straps

Secure the velcro straps on the inside of the Mitt around the bar end. This keeps the Mitts in place while in use. The easiest way to secure the velcro is to slide one hand through the cuff opening and one hand through the zipper opening.

Step 4: Zip Up Zipper and Secure Straps

Zip up the zipper and secure the velcro straps at the handlebar end cables.

INSTALLING CAMPY / SRAM

(Internally Routed Cables)

Step 1: Position Holes with Velcro Tabs

Holes with velcro tabs will face inside towards handlebar stem for installation.

Step 2: Open Velcro Tabs and Cinch

Open velcro tabs at cuff and velcro cinch at small opening of Mitt. Slide the large opening of Mitt onto the drop of the handlebar and up over brake lever and shifters while feeding bar end through the small hole with cinch.

Step 3: Secure Velcro around Handlebar Top

Secure velcro around handlebar top.

Step 4: Secure and Tighten Velcro Cinch

Secure and tighten velcro cinch at drop of handlebar. This will keep Mitts in place while in use.

INSTALLING SHIMANO

(Externally Routed Cables)

Step 1: Position Zipper and Velcro Tabs

Zipper and hole with velcro tabs should face inside toward handlebar stem for installation.

Step 2: Open Zipper and Velcro Tabs

Open zipper and velcro tabs. Slide the large opening of Mitt onto the drop of the handlebar and up over brake levers and shifters while feeding the bar end through the small hole of the Mitt. The shift cable should be fully seated at the zipper end at the hood.

Step 3: Secure Velcro Tabs and Zip Up Zipper

Secure velcro tabs around the handlebar and zip up the zipper.

Step 4: Secure Velcro Tab over Zipper Pull

Secure velcro tab over the zipper pull. This will keep the zipper in the closed position.
